Weeks before this stage the entire vehicle was ( Soda ) blasted inside and out then washed with soap and water. We then brought it in the shop and applied a coat of Sherwin Williams Epoxy primer which will provide excellent metal protection and great adhesion for fillers and glazing putty's.
Complete outer and inner rocker panels as well as 3 floor pan sections and most body mount extension ribs were pieced together and welded in.
A new rear pan was installed complete with lower cross member. Both Qrt extensions were hand built and half the trunk floor was replaced. Many hours of welding were required to provide a solid foundation for this Classic.
